Rhodes College on Sept. 27 hosted a gathering of the Multilingual Memphis Coffee Chat, a regional network that brings together educators, administrators, and community organizations working to better serve second-language learning communities.
Rhodes College faculty Dr. Casey Shin, Dr. Stephen Ceccoli, and Dr. Han Li in June presented a workshop to Mississippi secondary school teachers titled “Bringing Asia into the Classroom: Trade, Culture, and Global Connections.”
Hannah Meit ’25, who is pursuing a mathematics major and a Russian minor, recently presented her pure math research at the Nebraska Conference for Undergraduate Women in Math, marking her fourth conference presentation.
