Winter Mentoring Program

January is National Mentoring Month, and to celebrate this and the incredible Rhodes Alumni Network, the Office of Alumni Relations presents the Winter Mentoring Program.

The Rhodes College Winter Mentoring Program is intended to supplement a student’s academic career with “real world” exposure by providing a fulfilling mentoring experience with Rhodes alumni. This will primarily be through “one-on-one” interaction between the student and the alum. The program is not intended to lead to employment or job offers, but instead seeks to provide a learning opportunity for the student outside of the classroom experience.

 The relationships are intended to:

  • Be professional in nature
  • Help set expectations in the professional workplace/graduate school
  • Help students make the transition from an academic environment to the world of work/graduate school
  • Offer an opportunity for professional development, networking, and an exchange of ideas between experienced professionals and the next generation of leaders
