The Mike Curb Institute for Music Fellowship Program offers real-world learning opportunities for students to gain knowledge and experience by working on tangible projects, often with working professionals in the music industry. In 2022, the Institute launched the Curb Community Fellows program, which provides funding for students to work directly with local professionals and organizations such as Goner Records, the Overton Park Shell, the Memphis Music Initiative, the STAX museum of American Soul Music, and Grammy and Emmy award-winning author and filmmaker Robert Gordon.
Curb Fellowships are open to all Rhodes students who have successfully completed Music and Community in Memphis (MUSC/URBN 262)
