Critical Campus Safety Communications

To maximize the safety of the campus community, the college provides three types of information:

  • Timely warnings are communicated about Clery Act defined crimes that take place in Clery Act defined geography, which the college has determined represent a significant or continuing threat to the campus.
  • Emergency notifications are communicated when the college confirms a situation (contagious diseases, crimes, environmental hazards, or other types of emergencies) that presents an immediate threat to health or safety.
  • Campus safety alerts are communicated when the college determines crimes or hazards are not one of the prior two types, but the community should be aware of them to increase their safety.
