Admission Programs

Learn more about Rhodes through a variety of different campus visit options this spring! Admitted seniors are invited to attend our exclusive Preview Day programs as well as our Future Lynx Fridays offered every week. Throughout the academic year, we offer several visit programs designed for juniors and sophomores as well that provide prospective students and their guests with a thorough introduction to Rhodes and Memphis. This year, we are excited to offer both virtual and in-person events!

Admitted Student Programs

Admitted seniors mark your calendar for one of our on-campus Preview days this spring! Our on-campus See Yourself at Rhodes experience provides the opportunity to meet future classmates and spend an entire day exploring campus. Come interact with faculty and current students and see yourself as a future Lynx! Save your spot for either of our on-campus events on Monday, February 28, or Saturday, April 2.

If you are not able to make it to campus, you can still attend our Preview evening event from the comfort of your own home! We will be offering a Virtual See Yourself at Rhodes event where students will still be able to learn about the Rhodes experience through interacting with faculty and students via Zoom. Our Virtual Preview event will be on Thursday, March 24.

Every Friday this spring, we have reserved a campus visit just for our admitted seniors! These afternoon visits include the opportunity to hear from our faculty and current students, tour campus, and talk with Admission. The program ends with plenty of time to explore the great city of Memphis. Our staff are always eager to offer recommendations for food and fun in the city during the weekend after your visit!

Crossroads is an overnight multicultural program for admitted students and their families. It celebrates the many cultural experiences of our prospective students and provides a window into what those experiences could look like at Rhodes. Attendees will hear from Rhodes students, faculty, and staff regarding the intersection of race, religion, gender, sexuality, and how these identities foster on our campus. Admitted students will be paired with a current student host and stay overnight on campus. In many cases we can provide vouchers for travel assistance to campus. While Rhodes celebrates allyship, this program is not designed around being an ally. Students who share multicultural affinity should register. Proof of vaccination required to stay overnight.

To register: Crossroads:  April 1, 2022

Programs for Sophomores and Juniors

Junior and Sophomore Journey offers prospective students the chance to get a feel for the college experience. Students will learn about academics by attending a real class while parents hear from faculty about the opportunities inside and outside of the classroom. The visit concludes with a tour of our beautiful campus, led by a current student. We will offer two opportunities to join us for this program on Monday, February 21and Monday, March 7.

We invite you to explore our Info Session Video Series, where our counselors share in greater detail how Rhodes provides an unparalleled educational experience.
