Fine and Performing Arts Scholarships

If you’re an aspiring artist, musician, singer or actor, or have an interest in technical theatre, you may qualify for one of Rhodes′ Fine and Performing Arts Scholarships.

The Fine and Performing Arts Scholarships are available to students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in art, music or theatre.

Financial awards in the Fine and Performing Arts are available to incoming students in variable amounts, as scholarships in Art, Music and Theatre. The determination of the award is dependent upon acceptance to the college and a juried score based upon an audition (Departments of Music and Theatre) or fine arts portfolio (Department of Art).

Financial awards will vary, depending on the total financial aid package and artistic potential as determined by audition or portfolio review. All awards recognize superior potential in the Fine Arts and are designed to encourage this development through pursuit of a major or minor in the appropriate discipline.

Organize the document to include the artist’s full name, title, date, material and dimensions of each piece. You may also include a short paragraph with describing your thoughts behind each piece.
