The Center for Career and Professional Developments hosts a variety of on-campus events each semester for career exploration, networking, and recruiting. Annual events include career and graduate school fairs, alumni and employer networking, graduate and professional school admission panels, and mock interview opportunities. CCPD events are open to all students, regardless of class year or intended major. It’s never too early to begin exploring!

NACE Career Competency Badges
The Career Readiness Badging Program empowers students to identify and articulate the skills they are developing through their curricular and co-curricular experiences, including on-campus employment. Students submit documentation demonstrating their proficiency in each of the eight NACE Career Readiness Competencies. Upon successful verification, students earn a digital badge that demonstrates mastery of a specific competency and can be displayed on LinkedIn, Handshake, and other professional platforms to showcase their career readiness to employers and graduate schools.

Amy collaborates with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and employers to manage a campus-wide curriculum-to-career ecosystem that embeds career readiness across the academic and co-curricular experience so every student can identify, build, and communicate the skills they develop through a Rhodes education.

Associate Director of Career Services
Amy works with juniors, seniors, and graduate students to prepare them for a successful postgraduation transition. Having come from a career in business recruiting, Amy assists our students with resume writing, networking, job and graduate school interviews, and career assessments.
Jessica Flanagan
Assistant Director of Internships and Experiential Education
Jessica works with students to prepare them to apply for academic internships. She also assists them with paid internships, international internships, and our NYC Internship program. With 15 years of experience, Jessica helps students find the right internship to fit their academic and professional goals.

Precious works with first-years and sophomores; she finds joy in working with students, guiding them as they discover their unique paths in life.
