Freelance violinist Daniel Gilbert enjoys a life of variety in the Memphis music world. Daniel
teaches strings classes at Lausanne Collegiate School, The Shepherd’s Horn, and has a private
studio at the Grove Music Academy. He performs regularly with the Memphis Symphony, Luna
Nova, and in February 2023 made his debut on continuo harpsichord at the Arkansas
Symphony's River Rhapsodies. Daniel and his wife Lori play locally for weddings with the
Memphis String Quartet and the Rivendell Quartet and at their church, First Evan. Lori and
Daniel have three children and live in Memphis, Tennessee.
