Pay a Student′s Bill: Log in to Nelnet
Authorized Payers: The student must set up an Authorized Payer account for their parents or other payers in order for them to be able to view and pay bills. Once the student has granted access in the system for Authorized Payers, those individuals with authorization will receive student bills via email and can use Nelnet at any time to view the student’s bill, set up a payment plan, or make payments by credit card or eCheck.
• Log into Workday.
• Click on View All Apps , then Finance, then Nelnet.
• Once your profile is set up, you can make a payment, enroll in a payment plan, or set up an authorized payer who can make a payment or enroll in a payment plan.
•When setting up your authorized payers, take note of the security option "Include the details that make up my balance." If that box is not checked, authorized payers will only see the amount due and not the breakdown of charges and credits.
Authorized Payer instructions:
If you are paying on behalf of the student, the student MUST set up their account first and then add you as an Authorized Payer. Once the student invites you, you will receive an email invitation with a link.
• Click on the included link.
• Answer the security question.
• If you have used Nelnet before, simply Sign In to manage your account.
•If you are new to Nelnet, click on the “Create a username & password” button to create an online account.
• Once your profile is set up, you can make a payment or enroll in a payment plan.
Additional Payment Options:
Other than the e-check, credit card, and monthly plan options on the Nelnet site, check and cash payments are accepted in person at Rhodes Express in Burrow Hall, and paper checks can be mailed to Rhodes Express. Please include the student’s name and Rhodes ID number.

Paper bills are not mailed
All bills are delivered in electronic form, and only those to whom the student has granted access as an authorized payer are notified by email that a new bill is ready. Statements are sent by email in the following months:
