Biology Internships

The Department of Biology, in conjunction with Rhodes Career Services office, sponsors a number of internships. Internships offer an excellent opportunity to observe and participate in a workplace environment. Such experiences allow students to explore various career options as they decide how they will apply themselves after graduation.

Most of the internships sponsored by the department are in the health professions including surgery, pediatrics, anesthesiology, orthopedics, physical therapy, nursing, veterinary medicine and dentistry. Other internship opportunities include museum curatorship, family planning education, and habitat restoration. For current opportunities, see the listings at Career Services. Or contact Career Services if you have a special interest you′d like to pursue.  Rhodes′ extensive connections to the community mean that new opportunities are always arising.
