Dr. Alexandra Babij joins the Department of Psychology as a Visiting Assistant Professor. Babij received a Ph.D. in Psychology from North Carolina State University in 2021. She researches people’s beliefs about the extent to which different human attributes and conditions (e.g., emotion, weight, mental illness) are changeable and controllable. The ultimate goal of her work is to develop effective mindset-based interventions that promote well-being and reduce stigma.
