Professor Nelson Among Scholars Participating in Presidents’ Day Event

In a special Presidents’ Day event centered on the March publications of his book The Elections of 2012, Michael Nelson, the Fulmer Professor of Political Science at Rhodes, will lead a roundtable discussion at the University of Virginia about the elections of 2012.

The event is being presented by The Miller Center, a nonpartisan institute that seeks to expand understanding of the presidency, policy, and political history.

Nelson has published extensively on the presidency, elections and public policy including his book The American Presidency: Origins and Development.
