The Fulbright Program is the flagship international academic exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government with participation by students, faculty, and young professionals. Rhodes has been recognized as a top Fulbright-producing institution in the past, and this year, 16 seniors from the college are competing for Fulbright U.S. Student Awards to be used beginning in 2024 and ending in 2025.

In partnership with more than 140 countries worldwide, the Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers unparalleled opportunities in various academic disciplines for participants to pursue graduate study, conduct research, or teach English abroad. They live and work with the people of the host country while learning from them and sharing daily experiences.

Selection for Fulbright U.S. Student Program awards is based on different factors, including quality and feasibility of the participant’s proposal, academic or professional record, personal qualifications, and language preparation. Winners will be announced throughout Spring 2024.

Listed here are students from Rhodes competing for 2024-2025 awards, their majors, and countries of interest.
