Students Discuss Their Research Over the Summer and Service in the City

The Rhodes Institute for Regional Studies is an intensive eight-week summer program that affords students the opportunity to work with a faculty mentor on an individual project designed to shed light on an aspect of life and culture in Memphis and the Mid-South. Participants have been presenting their research to the campus community this week, and presentations continue today in 110 Buckman Hall. Here is the schedule:

Sixteen Rhodes students have participated in the Summer Service Fellowship program over the past eight weeks, working with nonprofit agencies throughout Memphis and serving 36 hours/week at their selected sites.
