Rhodes Singers and Chambers Singers Go On Tour This Week

The Rhodes Singers and Chambers Singers are on tour this week in Ruston, Mandeville and New Orleans, La.

Directed by William Skoog, the Rhodes Singers was organized in 1937 and soon after started performing an annual tour. In the summer of 2014, Rhodes Singers will tour Germany and participate in the Paris International Choral Festival. The Rhodes Chamber Singers, directed by Rhodes alumnus James Cornfoot, is a small mixed ensemble that performs a cappella repertoire from the Western art music tradition. Debbie Smith is the pianist/organist for both ensembles.
