Rhodes Alum and CFO of the World Famous Comedy Store on Mission to Help Audiences Overcome Money Fears

Bob Wheeler grew up in Clarksville, TN and graduated from Rhodes in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Since his time at Rhodes, he has accumulated more than 25 years of experience as a certified public accountant, travelled the world, performed stand-up comedy, and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa.

He also is chief financial officer for The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, which has featured some of the biggest names in comedy including Jay Leno, David Letterman, Richard Pryor, Chelsea Handler, Jim Carrey, Roseanne Barr and Chris Rock.

Now Wheeler has published a book titled Money Nerve: Navigating the Emotions of Money. According to an article in Clarksville’s Leaf Chronicle, “Wheeler is on a mission to help people navigate their emotions related to money so they can change destructive patterns.” Read more about him here.
