Rhodes mock trial teams will host and compete in the 16-team “Blues City Scrimmage” to be held on campus Dec. 5-6. The invitational tournament will take place in Buckman Hall. Rounds begin at 2 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
Schools competing other than Rhodes include Millsaps College, Cornell College, Hendrix College, Washington University, and Auburn University.
During the fall and early spring, invitational tournaments are held around the country to allow teams to prepare for American Mock Trial Association-sanctioned tournaments in the spring and to advance to the nationals. The national championship is in April 2016.
