The financial aid and scholarship programs offered by Rhodes make it possible for qualified students from all walks of life to attend. There are two forms of financial assistance available to accepted Rhodes applicants: need-based aid and merit-based scholarship and fellowship awards.
Rhodes’ merit-based and need-based financial aid packages level the higher education playing field. It is not uncommon for the actual out-of-pocket expense of attending Rhodes to be no greater than that of attending a large state university. Many families with incomes over $100,000 per year receive need-based aid. Every family’s circumstances are unique. Only by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the College Scholarship Service (CSS) PROFILE can you know for sure whether or not you qualify for need-based aid.
