Tom Bryant

Thomas Bryant received his B.M. and M.M. degrees from the University of Georgia, and completed his D.M. degree at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Dr. Bryant lists his piano teachers and mentors to include Despy Karlas, Jane Douglas, Hans Petermandl, Maria Regina Seidlhofer-Luponi, and Donald Isaak. He has studied accompanying with Laurence Davis and Erik Werba.

Carole Blankenship

Carole Choate Blankenship, soprano, is Associate Professor of Music and Elizabeth G. Daughdrill Chair in the Fine Arts at Rhodes College. She is heard regularly in recitals, lecture recitals, chamber music concerts, and oratorio performances. Dr. Blankenship has performed solo recitals in Marktoberdorf, Germany; The Cell Theatre, New York, New York; The University of California, Santa Cruz; The University of the Pacific; The University of Delaware; The Lilypad, Boston; The Foundling Museum, London, and on many concert series. John Bass

John Bass serves as Director of the Mike Curb Institute for Music at Rhodes College, an endowed program founded by Mike Curb to research, preserve, and promote the musical traditions of Memphis and the South. Through the Curb Institute, Dr. Bass has developed and directs student fellowships, original research, and community engagement initiatives in Memphis.
