Dr. Bremer teaches classes on religion in the Americas, methods and theories in the academic study of religions, and core curriculum courses in Religious Studies. He is author of Blessed with Tourists: The Borderlands of Religion and Tourism in San Antonio (2004, University of North Carolina Press) and Formed From This Soil: An Introduction to the Diverse History of Religion in America (2014, John Wiley & Sons), a textbook on American religious history.
