Rhodes A mock trial team won the University of Iowa invitational held Dec. 2-3. Ohio State University, New York University, Cornell College, Wheaton College, Loyola University, Xavier University and Miami University were among the schools that competed.
In addition to the team trophy, Matthew Broussard ’20 won a “Top Attorney” award and Meredith Clement and Ethan Fox ’19 each won a “Top Witness” award.
This past weekend marked the end of Rhodes’ fall invitational season. Teams will compete in early spring invitational tournaments to prepare for American Mock Trial Association-sanctioned tournaments and the national championship to be held April 20-22, 2018 in Minneapolis, MN.
