Sasha Kostina′s areas of specialization are Russian language, linguistics, culture, and language of folklore. She is coordinator of the Maymester Study Abroad Program in St. Petersburg and offers courses in Russian language, linguistics, culture, and literature. She earned her Ph.D. on the linguistic features of Valentin Rasputin’s prose fiction in September 2011.
