Shakespeare's Women

Event date

Through scene, soliloquy and song, this piece presents an
imaginative exploration of the Bard’s women, from his
celebrated leads to his lesser-known but no less intriguing
ladies. Daughters, sisters, and lovers; warriors, bawds and wits,
Shakespeare's female characters represent not only the many faces
of womanhood, they illuminate--as much as their male
counterparts--the breadth and depth of human experience.
