Chaplain Beatrix is a “safe zone,” which means she is trained in supporting people of the LGBTQIA+ community. She would love to meet with you in her office, over tea, on the basketball court, or out on campus for a walk! To make an appointment, email weilb@rhodes.edu

Chaplain Beatrix is not a “mandatory reporter.” This means that, by and large, you can share anything with her and she will maintain your confidentiality. She is required to report situations in which she has concerns about someone’s immediate safety. Rhodes College’s Title IX contact person is Inez Warner. Contact Inez if you experience or become aware of a situation involving gender-based or sex-based discrimination or assault. You can always reach out to Chaplain Beatrix in these situations as well.

Students interested in practicing and growing their religious and spiritual life have the opportunity to participate in and lead a wide variety of religious and spiritual groups on campus.

Rhodes College is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). Many on and off-campus resources are available to anyone looking to further their involvement with the Presbyterian Church.
