The Rhodes community counts among its members some who are from the Florida Panhandle and the Gulf Coast. If you or your loved ones have been affected by Hurricane Michael in any way, our thoughts are with you. Stay safe and let us know how we can help.
We know this is a stressful time for some current students and prospective students who are worried about their families, homes, and communities. We want to make it clear that Rhodes College is here to support them.

We have asked our faculty and staff, as they work with students in the coming days and weeks, to please let us know if there are students who are struggling or need additional support. Members of the Rhodes community have access to resources that can be useful in times of high stress. The Counseling Center can be reached by emailing counseling@rhodes.edu or calling their 24/7 telephone number (901) 843-3128. You can also walk in for an appointment at Moore Moore, next to the Refectory, during business hours.

In addition, Rev. Beatrix Weil, the Rhodes chaplain, is available to students seeking support. She can be contacted directly by emailing weilb@rhodes.edu

For applicants affected by the storm:

If you live in a storm-impacted area, the last thing we want you to worry about right now is your application for admission. If the storm has disrupted your ability to meet application deadlines, we can help. Please contact Caleb Fowler, our Florida admission representative, who will be happy to work with you to accommodate your particular needs.
