Professor Nora Jabbour primarily teaches courses in beginning and intermediate Spanish, in which she enjoys comparing the language and culture of Latin America with that in the United States so her student can see how many similarities and differences there are. While she is a native of Guatemala City, Guatemala, she has resided in Memphis since 1989. She loves traveling overseas and has accompanied groups of Rhodes students to Spain, Argentina, and Ecuador. Another favorite pastime is to drink the coffee of her native country, a hobby she enjoys almost as much as she likes to spend time with family and friends.
