Keith Gibson joins the Department of Political Science as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Gibson received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. His areas of expertise include urban politics, public policy, electoral behavior and civic participation, and income inequality. Dr. Gibson brings over ten years of experience working in the fields of public opinion and has worked in Washington, D.C. on some of the most pressing issues facing our country. He was awarded the John W. Kingdon Award for Outstanding and Innovative Teaching while at the University of Michigan. Dr. Gibson teaches Urban Politics, Introduction to American Politics and Research Methodology.
