Born and raised in Massachusetts, Chris found his way to a small, liberal arts institution in Virginia, where he studied political science and criminal justice. As a student, Chris worked as a tour guide and an ambassador for his alma mater. Upon graduation, Chris decided to take a gap year working in higher education before pursuing his dream of law school. Three years later Chris' passion for admission work has only grown stronger, and although Chris still intends to attend law school in the future, he has also begun his master's degree in higher education administration. When asked why he enjoys the world of admission and enrollment, Chris replied, “I enjoy seeing that figurative lightbulb go off in a student's head when they have finally found the right college fit.” Chris enjoys helping students work through the intimidating college admission process to ultimately find their home for the next four years.
This is Chris' fourth year in admission work but first year at Rhodes College, where he's already fallen in love with the people, campus, and the vast opportunities that Rhodes has to offer its students. Always being a deep supporter of liberal arts education, Chris looks forward to helping students find their college dreams at Rhodes. Chris is excited to explore the Memphis area (especially the new restaurants!) and make Rhodes his new home. When not in the office, Chris can usually be found outdoors hiking, camping, white water kayaking, or rock climbing. He is a big fan of his hometown Boston sports teams, but is ready to embrace the hometown Memphis Grizzlies and AAA baseball Memphis Redbirds!
