Looking to get a healthy start on the new year? Join us for a virtual cooking demonstration and cook along with The Chubby Vegetarian via Zoom!
Husband-and-wife team Justin Fox Burks and Amy Lawrence '98 are the authors of three vegetarian cookbooks. Their creative take on vegetarian food has been highlighted in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Woman’s Day, Chowhound, okra., The Kitchn, Local Palate, The Huffington Post, The Food Network, Edible Memphis, and Memphis Magazine. They have appeared on The Great Food Truck Race and P. Allen Smith’s Garden Style.
Recipe: Justin and Amy will walk us through their delicious Porcini + Portobello Mushroom Bourguignon over Smashed Potatoes recipe.
When: Thursday, January 28, 6:00pm CST.
What to expect: The cooking demo will take approximately 30-45 minutes with about 15 minutes for introductions and closing remarks. There will be opportunities to talk with the chefs throughout the session. You will receive the Zoom link, recipe details and ingredient lists in your confirmation email.
