Rhodes students are highly competitive applicants to graduate programs.  In 2006, 69.6 % of Rhodes graduates were accepted into their first-choice program. Our medical acceptance rate for graduating seniors going straight to AAMC Medical Schools for 2001-2006 seniors (6 yrs) averages 74%.  This is 68% greater than the 2006 national acceptance rate.  And 96% of our graduates were accepted into law school, as compared with the national average of 63.1%.

Rhodes Career Services is sponsoring Grad School Week through September 28.  This week has been designed to meet the needs of students interested in applying to graduate school programs. 

Activities include a sample graduate school entrance exam; admissions representatives from UT Med School, U of M Law School, and U of M Grad School;  tips on financing grad school; a panel of experts discussing their careers; and a Graduate School Expo with 80 graduate school representatives from across the nation on hand to recruit students.
