Lynx Men′s Golf Team in First Place After Day One at NCAA Division III National Championships

The Rhodes Men′s Golf Team shot an 11 over par 299 on day one and are currently in first place at the NCAA Division III National Championships. Rhodes leads second-place St. John′s University (MN) by one stroke and third-place Ohio Wesleyan University by three strokes. SCAC rival Oglethorpe sits four strokes off the lead, in fourth place, posting a score of 303.
 
Junior Justin Palmer shot an even par 72 and is in a five-way tie for third place, three strokes behind the tournament leader. Senior Carter Lawnin is in a multiple-way tie for ninth, shooting a two over par 74. 
 
There are three days and 54 holes of golf remaining in the Championships, being played in Indianapolis, IN.
