The spring sports teams at Rhodes enjoyed another extraordinary week.

The men’s golf team continues to have a banner year and is currently ranked No. 5 nationally in Division III. They are not alone in national rankings, as two of our women’s track and field relay teams are in the Top 15. The 4 x 400 team is No. 7 and the 4 x 100 team rose to No. 12 by running a school-record 48.5. Six of the team’s runners have provisionally qualified for the NCAA championships. The baseball team, at 35-8, has set another school record for victories and is ranked in the top 25.

Also turning in fine performances this season are the men’s tennis team, which holds a 16-2 record and the women’s tennis team has an impressive 9-3 record. Most improved goes to the softball team, which has a school record-setting 23-12 record. This is a dramatic turnaround after finishing at 3-25 last year.

Rhodes is proud of all of our scholar athletes, and we wish them much success as many of them embark on postseason play.
