Brooks Royer Selected to National SAAC Committee

Brooks Royer, a rising junior infielder from Houston, TX, has been selected by the NCAA Division III to become one of 21 student-athletes from around the country to serve on the 2008-2009 National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Royer has been the baseball team′s representative since his first year at Rhodes.

Royer′s duties on the committee will include attending two to three national meetings a year with the other 20 members. He also will attend NCAA student-athlete leadership conferences and the NCAA convention with Rhodes President Bill Troutt and Athletic Director Mike Clary.
