In addition to serving as the technical director for all the McCoy Theatre′s mainstage productions, Laura has designed the lighting for over 80 productions at the McCoy as well as The University of Memphis, Germantown Children′s Theatre and Theatre Memphis. Her set design credits include Carnival, Richard the Third, Fifth of July, and Iphigenia and Other Daughters. A member of the artistic advisory board for the Tennessee Williams′ Theatre Festival held for three summers at Rhodes, she also served as lighting designer, technical director, and production manager.

In addition to her theatre work, Laura has done lighting consulting at local churches as well as exhibit design and lighting specification for a variety of commercial projects.

Laura teaches courses on lighting design, set design, technical production and theory and criticism.
