Skoog’s Article Makes the Cover of Choral Journal

An article by Rhodes music chair Dr. William Skoog has made the cover of the February 2014 issue of Choral Journal, the official publication of the American Choral Directors Association, which promotes excellence in choral music performance and scholarship.

The article is titled "Musical Settings of War Texts in Two Twentieth-Century British Choral Works” and focuses on the works of two preeminent composers Ralph Vaughan Williams and Benjamin Britten.

In the fall of 2013, Skoog had the privilege of conducting Benjamin Britten’s “War Requiem” at the Cannon Center in Memphis.
