Sixth Annual Unsheltered: Unseen Photography Show Is This Saturday

Photos from the Unsheltered: Unseen project will be showcased April 25 at Marshall Arts Gallery located at 639 Marshall Avenue. Free and open to the public, the show is 5- 9 p.m.

Unsheltered: Unseen provides the homeless community an avenue for artistic expression as well as a catalyst for change in the discussion about homelessness. The commission given to each artist is simply: “Use this camera to capture your Memphis.”

Rhodes is a sponsor of the project which was started by Rhodes students in 2010. Photos in this year′s exhibit include self-portraits, landscape, architecture, and scenes from daily life. Also, the show is being catered by Central BBQ.
