Rhodes Student Wins Scholarship Promoting Workplace Diversity in Information Technology

Rachel Elledge ’14 of Rhodes College is among five students awarded a new Acxiom diversity scholarship. Other recipients represent Hendrix College and the University of Central Arkansas.

Founded in 1969, Acxiom is a marketing technology and services company. Its scholarship program, which promotes a diverse working environment, also includes a one-year internship opportunity. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, field of study and areas of professional interest.

Elledge, who is from Roland, Ark. and a graduate of Pulaski Academy, is a computer science major and tutor in the Rhodes Mathematics Support Center.
