Rhodes Staffer Angela Fletcher and Bloodhound Selected As American Humane Association Award Finalists

Angela Fletcher, an administrative assistant II in Rhodes’ External Programs, and her adopted bloodhound Maddy are up for the 2015 Hero Dog Award from the American Humane Association for their work in search and rescue. Only a few finalists are selected.

Last year, Fletcher and Maddy were selected as Heroes of the Year by the Pet Philanthropy Circle. They have helped to save lives as members of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations K-9 Unit, the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office, and the North American Police Working Dog Association.
