Rhodes Seniors Recognized As Most Valuable Athletes

Student-athletes, coaches and guests gathered April 17 in the McCallum Ballroom to celebrate the 2012-13 varsity athletic year.

Lindsey Svehla, a biology major from Bellevue, Neb., and Katie Faucher, an environmental studies major from Jefferson, Mass., received the Rebecca Rish Gay Award, given to the most valuable senior female athlete(s). Svehla is a member of the Women′s Track & Field Team, and Faucher is a member of Rhodes′ Field Hockey Team.

Basketball guard Andrew Galow, a Spanish major from Oswego, Ill., received the Walter E. Gay Award given to the most valuable male senior athlete. Read more.
