Rhodes College is a sponsor of the 2013 Tennessee Bike Summit held this week, May 22-24, on campus.
Last year, Tennessee ranked 26th out of 50 states in the League of American Bicyclists′ Bicycle Friendly States list. To continue building momentum and success, the 2013 Tennessee Bike Summit will serve as an opportunity to share successes, challenges, and strategies for moving Tennessee forward as a bike-friendly state.
The workshops will center on these key themes:
- Bikes and economic development
- Green lane development
- Map-21
- Building bike-friendly communities
