Professor Pascual-Argente Awarded Mellon Fellowship in Medieval Studies

Dr. Clara Pascual-Argente, assistant professor of Spanish, has been awarded the Mellon Fellowship in Medieval Studies at the University of Notre Dame′s Medieval Institute for the academic year 2013-2014. The Medieval Institute boasts the largest contingent of medievalists in North American universities, a group of top scholars working in a wide variety of disciplines.

This fellowship will permit Pascual-Argente to work on her book manuscript, “The Invention of Antiquity: Memory and Anachronism in the Castilian Roman Antique.”
