Prof. Valeria Nollan Invited To Give Catherine the Great Lecture In Rome

Professor Valeria Nollan of Rhodes’ Department of Modern Languages and Literatures has been invited to give a lecture at John Cabot University in Rome. She will speak to the university’s faculty and students on the topic, “The Italian-Russian Connection: Catherine the Great’s Reception of Italian Composers, Writers, and Architects at Her Court” on May 28, 2013.

She also will finalize plans for a course on Catherine the Great that she will teach at John Cabot in the summer of 2014.
