Prof. Andrew Michta to Publish New Book on NATO, Quoted in New York Times

Dr. Andrew Michta, M. W. Buckman Distinguished Professor of International Studies at Rhodes, has co-edited with Paal Hilde a new book addressing what they call the most pressing debate regarding NATO’s future—the balance between security operations globally and traditional defense within the North-Atlantic region. It is titled The Future of NATO: Regional Defense and Global Security and is scheduled to be published in July by the University of Michigan Press.

Michta specializes in NATO, transatlantic security relations, and Europe with special expertise on Polish foreign and security policy. A frequent media contributor, he also is quoted in a recent New York Times’ article about secret recordings involving some of Poland’s highest officials. View it here.
