Dr. Andrew Michta, M. W. Buckman Distinguished Professor of International Studies at Rhodes, has joined the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) in Washington, D.C., as a Senior Fellow.
CEPA is a non-profit, non-partisan public policy research institute dedicated to the study of Central and Eastern Europe.
Michta, who specializes in NATO, transatlantic security relations and Europe, will lead projects on security and defense issues.
On June 6, he was decorated by the President of Poland with the Cavalier’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Polish Republic for outstanding contributions to the development of Polish-American friendly relations. The ceremony was attended by representatives of science, diplomacy and the military.
