The January 22nd issue of the Memphis Flyer features its annual “20 Under 30” list of individuals helping to shape Memphis’ future. Among them is Rhodes senior and Clarence Day Scholar Iris Mercado.
A graduate of White Station High School in Memphis, Mercado is involved in advocacy, civic engagement, and communications activities with the immigrant communities in West Tennessee. She also has worked closely with Memphis’ BRIDGES and the Mid-South Peace and Justice Center.
