On Saturday, April 22, the women’s track and field team won their 10th straight conference title and their fifth straight SAA Championship. The men’s team earned a second-place finish.
The Rhodes College men’s golf team claimed their first Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championship Sunday, April 23, and their first conference championship since 2007. The women’s golf team placed second.
Also on April 23, the baseball team closed the conference season with a series win over Centre College. They will be hosting the first round of the conference tournament this weekend with games on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Rhodes will be playing at 11a.m. on Friday.
The women’s lacrosse team won the regular season SAA title and will be playing in the championship game at Rhodes on Sunday at noon against Berry College. They are currently 17-0. Men’s lacrosse won the regular season SAA title and will be hosting the conference tournament this Friday and Sunday. Rhodes will be playing Friday at 7 p.m.
