A single day at Rhodes can make a lifelong impression on a student. It can happen on a Monday while doing groundbreaking research alongside a favorite professor. Or on a Wednesday, after clinching another conference championship by beating arch-rival Sewanee in overtime. Or maybe Fried Chicken Friday was your favorite day!
The Rhodes Annual Fund is launching a one-day interactive fund-raising event called The Best Day Ever: Rhodes 24-Hour Challenge. From noon on May 12th until noon on May 13th, we'll be reaching out via e-mail, phone calls, and social media to encourage the Rhodes community—including staff, students, alumni, and parents—to share their #BestDayEver, and ask them to make a gift through the GiveCampus site. Our goal: 1,000 gifts in 24 hours! Your donation will help ensure that future generations of students will experience amazing, life-changing days at Rhodes!
Here’s how it works:
• Go to Givecampus to make a gift to the Rhodes Annual Fund in celebration of your #BestDayEver at Rhodes.
• Take a selfie holding a sheet of paper that describes your #BestDayEver at Rhodes.
• Post it on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook using the hashtags #BestDayEver and #RhodesCollege.
