Adrian Scaife ’17 Wins Award at Regional History Conference

Adrian Scaife ’17 recently won third place in the undergraduate paper competition in American history at the Phi Alpha Theta Regional Conference held at Union University in Jackson, TN. Phi Alpha Theta is the national history honor society. 

The title of Scaife’s  paper is “Grit and Grind: Vietnamese Refugees and the Process of Community Formation in Memphis.”  Professors Mike LaRosa and Seok-Won Lee accompanied him to the conference.
