Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam announced on Sept. 28 the appointments of 176 Tennesseans to 75 boards and commissions. Dr. Pamela Church, chair of Rhodes’ Department of Business, was appointed to the State Board of Accountancy.  The term runs through June 30, 2019.

“Serving on a board or commission is an important responsibility, and I thank these Tennesseans for their commitment to serve our state,” says Haslam.

Since joining the Rhodes College faculty in 1988, Church has taught undergraduate and graduate accounting courses in the areas of financial, managerial, and governmental accounting, as well as auditing. Her background includes accounting experience in the banking, manufacturing, and public accounting fields.
