Professor and Wilson Chair of Interdisciplinary Humanities
Rhodes College invites applications for the Spence Wilson Distinguished Chair in Humanities, a new faculty position created as the result of a major endowment to the College. In adding this Distinguished Chair to its faculty, Rhodes hopes to build on an already vibrant scholarly community in its Humanities division by recruiting a well established and dynamic scholar and undergraduate teacher. Applications are welcomed from candidates working in any area(s) of the Humanities.
Regardless of the candidate's research field, we are interested in individuals with demonstrated ability in several areas.
